All Saints, Little Kimble
Located less than a mile from Ellesborough church, this is a contrast in style and location. Inside it is noteworthy for its mediaeval wall paintings. Although these seem to have survived until the early twentieth century, the last few decades have seen much deterioration. On the splay of the west window, St Francis preaching to the birds is in particularly poor condition. The altar is very simple and a contrast to its neighbour. Fresh flowers bring new life into this ancient building.
