St Mary the Virgin, Hambleden

A surprisingly large church for this small village. Pictures show the nave and chancel decorated for Christmas, and the chancel lit with candles for a wedding service in December. The north transept has a monument to Sir Cope D’Oyley (d.1633), his wife and ten children, and in the Lady Chapel there is a beautiful and ornate triptych (late nineteenth century).
